Hello from Paradise!
Hi everyone!
No but seriously, I HAVE allowed myself to indulge in just about everything I want. I have NO idea how much I weigh, if I've gained or lost. My vacation is 100% scale-free....but on a good note, all my clothes still fit right, so I can't be too far off. I will worry about it when I get home.
Even though I am eating anything I want, the ONE thing I am being very cautious about is PORTION control. Yes, I ate that cheesecake, but unlike in the past, I only ate one slice not 5. Yes I ate that delicious lasagna my dad makes, but only 1 piece, not 3...get my drift??
I am also making sure to get my vegetables and green smoothies in daily and even though exercise has been a bit difficult, since I am SO used to the gym, I try to stay active as much as possible. At the beach I would wake up early and go for a walk and I even went to the gym at the hotel once...by myself...not fun but I did it. ( I was literally THE ONLY person there! lol)
I feel pretty comfortable in my skin. Getting into a swimsuit didn't feel like torture anymore, I actually was not self conscious like I usually am. I still have some areas I would like to work on, but that's part of the journey and I know it takes time.
For the first time since I was like 13, I have been able to share certain clothes with my MOM! That one is HUGE people. I am actually borrowing her shirts. If only she wasn't so short, we could prabably share more stuff!
So keep going on your journey, as I am going on mine. This is a lifestyle change. It's a change for better health and happiness and joy.
Here are some fun pics from our trip.
Hope you enjoy!
