I made it to the 140's!!!
WOW...That seemed like it took forever. But who's counting right?? haha. OK. I guess it's not really about the number on the scale, but about how good I feel. But it sure felt nice to have that scale out of the 160's and FINALLY out of the 150's . I am now 149 lbs!! Haha, I know, I just barely made it! I just hope to keep seeing results., but why should I have doubts? All I need to do is keep working as hard, keep eating as good and reap what I sow. Isn't that the law of the harvest?
I have noticed my arms are more tone and I am able to run over 2 miles on the treadmill nonstop! I am also the CRAZY woman on the treadmill because I figure, If I'm gonna be working out my legs, I might as well work out my arms, so as I walk on the treadmill my arms are flying up and down, or boxing or going back....yes I've gotten some funny looks at the gym but "who cares" right? Just have fun and jog as if no one is watching!
As much as I'd like my body to be fit and slim overnight, I have to keep in mind I didn't become this way overnight, It took many many many days of eating pizza, ice cream, cake, soda, McDonalds, junk. junk, junk to get my body in this state. I know it may require the same amount of time and effort to reverse the damage...however, I am amazed daily at how grateful our bodies are. Sometimes, so grateful, that the results come sooner than they should. Wow...why did I wait so long? Why did I think my body was the enemy when all along it was my friend? My abandoned , neglected, overlooked friend...I am sorry body. I hope you can forgive me.
So now I am on a journey to get out of the 140's. To have more muscle and more energy and more zest for life!
