Colon Hydrotherapy? Really?

This post is not intended for those who are squirmy and dislike talking about certain subjects
like feces better known as "poop".
But it's a natural part of every human being and our colons are a part of our health, so I am doing it for educational purposes and hope you are mature enough to appreciate it!

Ok here it goes.
My good friend Melissa and I decided to get colon hydrotherapy last week. We had never done it before and after research on it, I decided it was something I needed in order to help my body detox and in my journey to health and well being. The experience was quite interesting. We found a coupon on groupon and went in together.
My partner in crime and I in the sauna.

 what is colon hydrotherapy?

It is HOT in here!

We first went into the "sauna" together. It was fun having a friend there to share this with.
It was HOT. We sweated every inch of our bodies in there! But it was fun. We listened to music and took fun pics!

We then proceeded to go into the room where this is done . Melissa was first and she made it seem like a breeze, so when it was my turn I did not expect to feel what I felt! Um.......

Ok, It wasn't THAT bad, I just don't see how Melissa did not react like I did!

I enjoyed the aromatherapy on my belly with essential oils! And the hot compress on my back!
The technician explained that every person is different, and she assured me over and over that the 1st time was the hardest, since the body had never had this done before and it was trying to adjust.
So despite my experience the first time around, I went in for a second time.

Yesterday was the second time  and I have to say. The first time is definitely the hardest. Yesterday was not bad at all...My body is reacting wonderfully to the treatment and I can feel it! If it's something you are ever thinking of doing, I can say I am glad I went in!
I found out I had a bad case of candida which is linked to many ailments and I have to say my body was in detox mode all week. I felt very lethargic and weak. I also don't drink enough water at all! I know I know...
I am looking forward to a different week after this second treatment, full of more energy. I read you definitely start feeling better after the second or third time. So I will keep you posted!

( by the way, I did record a video, but I first need permission from my awesome friend in order to make it public, I am also working on a "poopless" version of it for those who want to watch, but not quite everything!)
